Sakiassie Ragee
Sakiassie Ragee was born in 1924. He spent the summer months of his childhood drawing and winters hunting with his brother, Kuppapik Ragee. Sakiassie found it difficult to choose drawing subjects, so he often used imaginary subject matter in his drawings. His wife, Egevadluk Ragee, was also an artist. In 1962, Sakiassie moved to Cape Dorset and took up construction work.
