Qabaroak Qatsiya
Qabaroak Qatsiya was born in 1942 and spent his formative years at Keautuk camp. In 1962, he moved to Cape Dorset with his parents and worked at the printshop from 1972-1982. His love of hunting is seen through his favourite subject matter to draw – animals. Qabaroak's wife, Iqaluk, and son, Tutuiya Qatsiya, are both carvers in Cape Dorset. He was the president of the West Baffin Eskimo Cooperative in 1993.
