Paulassie Pootoogook
Paulassie Pootoogook is the son of artist Pootoogook, and brother of artists Eegyvudluk, Kananginak, and Pudlat Pootoogook. He was born in 1927 at Igalalik camp. His wife, Ishuhungitok, is a graphic artist, and his son, Tukikikiuluk, is a carver. His artistic career began in Cape Dorset as a printmaker, but he also took up carving. Paulassie's artwork has been included in national and international exhibitions.
