Oqutaq Mikkigak
Oqutaq Mikkigak was born in 1936 and was among the first group of artists to draw in Cape Dorset. His wife, Qaunaq Mikkigak, was an artist and throat-singer. Oqutaq worked at the Peter Pitseolak School as the caretaker, but resumed drawing following his retirement. His artwork is colourful and focuses on people, animals and the landscape.
