Niviaksiak

Niviaksiak was one the first Inuit artists to produce a print. During his brief artistic career, he focused on the image of the polar bear. With his spouse, Kunu, he had two sons, Kiatshuk and Pitseolak Niviaqsi, and both became artists. Niviaksiak's artwork has been exhibited at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia.
