I love Indigenous art and am committed to promoting it through exhibitions, festivals, and cultural exchange. My curatorial work is both a journey of learning and a way to express my own aesthetics through dialogue with Indigenous creativity. I approach this work as a Cuban‑Canadian shaped by diverse roots, European, Cuban Indigenous, and African, and by a spectrum of sociopolitical experiences across Cuba, the Netherlands, Canada, and beyond. Having lived and traveled through Mexico, Colombia, the United States, Germany, Belgium, Portugal, and Spain, I bring a perspective that is both cross‑cultural and deeply personal. My goal is to present Indigenous art through this lens: as someone whose identity is the result of multiple histories, and whose vision is to amplify underrepresented voices while fostering connections across cultures.
